Discover Merino Wool
Merino wool is natural, renewable and biodegradable. It insulates while wicking moisture away from the skin. It's also antimicrobial, so it repels odor and stays stink-free. Merino wool is buttery soft without any of that the scratchy feel many people associate with wool clothing. All of our mid layers are made mostly of Merino wool with our Hyde Collection being 100% Merino.
Polartec® Power Wool™
Our more technical Merino wool mid layer, the Convict Canyon Hoodie, features Polartec Power Wool. This bi-component knit fabric combines the best of both natural and synthetic fibers. The construction pairs a soft and odor-reducing Merino wool in an open grid pattern with a lightweight polyester exterior that is durable and quick drying. This strengthens performance by increasing warmth and breathability while reducing fabric mass.
