Ridge Merino Launches Fall 2018 Collection and New Aspect Series

Aspect Midweight Merino Wool Baselayer Series Features (m)Force™ Fabric That Is 51 Percent More Durable Than Conventional Merino Wool

Ridge Merino®, makers of outstanding merino wool clothing at an exceptional price, announced the launch of its 2018 Fall Collection. The new line features the Aspect Merino Wool Baselayer Series with (m)Force™ technology, a merino fiber spun around a continuous nylon core for improved comfort and durability.

“Baselayers are an important part of an effective outdoor clothing system, providing that first crucial layer to keep you warm and dry,” said Jeff Russell, founder of Ridge Merino. “The Aspect Series is the next evolution of our midweight merino wool baselayers - built to be warm, soft and resilient - able to withstand greater wear and tear during the most rigorous activity. With Ridge, you always have a reliable, natural level of protection that allows you to get outside, go farther and stay out longer.”

In industry testing, the 180 g/m Aspect baselayers with (m)Force proved to be 51 percent more durable when compared to merino wool products at similar weights.* In addition, the baselayers hold their shape, dry fast and absorb moisture away from the skin, trapping it into the fibers where it evaporates. The fabric also staves off stink due to the natural antimicrobial qualities of merino wool.

The New Ridge Aspect Merino Wool Baselayer Series Includes:

  • Men’s Aspect Midweight Merino Wool Shirt, Men’s Aspect Midweight Merino Wool Underwear Bottom, Men’s Aspect Midweight 3/4 Merino Wool Underwear Bottom
  • Women’s Aspect Midweight Merino Wool Shirt, Women’s Aspect Midweight Merino Wool Underwear Bottom

Several products round out the Fall 2018 line including the Inversion Heavyweight Series 100% Merino Wool Baselayer tops and bottoms in 270 g/m, and (m)Force Merino Wool Underwear for women and men—which was recently included in Outside Magazine’s 2019 Winter Buyers’ Guide. The Ridge Heist Midlayer is back, as well as the Natural Hoodie. Made of an eco-friendly blend of merino wool and TENCEL™, the Natural Hoodie now includes improved ribbing on the hem and sleeves and a touch of Spandex for an improved fit and better recovery.

Ridge stands behind every item it sells. If a product doesn’t perform to your satisfaction, the company will take it back for replacement, repair or refund.
