Ridge recently had the opportunity to participate in the Outpost Trade Event at Mammoth Mountain - a weekend retreat of "engaging activities, great food, amazing performances, and opportunities to spark new connections with like-minded people, brands, and agencies from varied industries and backgrounds."
Ridge provided Merino wool neck gaiters for attendees during the unseasonably warm event. Additional sponsors included Burton, Bulleit Whiskey and GoTenna
Ridge founder Jeff Russell, participated in a panel discussion, "The Future of Mountain Towns," where topics ranged from business challenges to benefits of living in such a beautiful, but remote part of the country; and how to maintain work/life balance. (Podcast forthcoming.)
Mammoth Mountain provided a great venue and hosted amazing meals, happy hours at the summit, live entertainment, and led super informative sessions with Ski Patrol (complete with avalanche demos and "meet the avalanche dogs" sessions).
We were excited to be involved with the Outpost crew, whose mission is to re-envision the trade show and conference landscape.
At the Outpost, the "Future of Mountain Towns" panel included pro-snowboarder Kimmy Fasani, Business owner Linda Cobb; Panel Moderator / President of The Mountain Lab Scott Maguire; Mammoth Lakes Tourism Executive Director John Urdi and Ridge Founder Jeff Russell.
