Since our company's inception in 2014, Ridge has been a member of 1% for the Planet - proudly contributing 1% of sales annually to support environmental nonprofits. Buying from Ridge means helping some great organizations that are making a difference such as Protect Our Winters, Waterkeeper Alliance, Breast Cancer Prevention Partners, The Access Fund and Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center.
Ridge strives to use all-natural, renewable and/or biodegradable fabric and materials whenever possible, working primarily with Merino wool and TENCEL fabrics, with a bit of recycled polyester and organic cotton thrown in for good measure. We're constantly on the hunt for new and creative ways to experiment with other eco-friendly blends.
